Tracy Grills Graduated with a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1989 and worked in the oil industry for 19 years for various companies in roles ranging from Field Engineer to Sales Manager.
In 2009 Tracy Left the oil industry and in 2010 he formed Eco Lighting Solutions to help companies and individuals save massive amounts of energy. The company focuses on innovative, leading edge technologies for a greener environment. Eco Lighting solutions is an independent, wholesaler, and distributor of LED lighting products, and other energy saving products for residential, Multi Family,
commercial and Industrial buildings to LED.
AEEA has representation from large generators and distributors of Energy, large consulting firms etc. It needs to be balanced out by representation from independent firms who are on the ground installing products and dealing directly with the consumers of energy efficiency products and services.
Tracy has served on several boards throughout his career including, Canadian heavy Oil Association, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and various condominium and non-profit boards. His role as a director in a private company allows him to serve as an effective board member and advocate for Energy Efficiency.
