Ken Gibson is the Director of Operations of the Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance. Ken leads the organization’s engagement with stakeholders to accelerate Alberta’s deep retrofit market for commercial buildings.
Ken’s past experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Alberta Construction Association, and before that, Executive Director of the Alberta Food Processors Association. Ken’s servant leadership of those two associations involved policy development and advocacy; workforce and innovation program development and delivery; stakeholder engagement and communications; and support of governance and management of organizational resources. Ken’s twenty plus years with the Alberta Construction Association fostered the development of a broad network of collaborative relationships with building owners, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers. Building on these relationships will contribute to the Alliance’s efforts to increase energy efficiency in the province.
